Full time Ophthalmic Assistant/Optician

Job duties include working in the optical department assisting patients in selecting frames. Recommend specific lenses and lens coating to satisfy patient needs. Order and dispense eyewear accurately and professionally. Must be able to communicate with labs and maintain accurate patient data regarding current prescriptions and also working as an Ophthalmic Assistant doing the pretesting/work up of patients prior to seeing doctor. Will learn diagnostic testing, patient screening, visions, taking histories as well as assisting doctors with procedures. Great benefits and pay based on experience. Experience preferred.
